Bennekerry N.S. values the excellent support we receive from our Parents’ Association. The Association enhances the education we provide to our pupils through organising fundraising events, arranging guest speakers to talk to parents and contributing to school policy development.

The Parent’s Association regularly organise fun events which  promote a community spirit and provide opportunities for families from the school to meet together and share experiences. If, through these events, some profit is made, the funds go towards improving the school and  learning environment for our pupils. This year the PA hopes to have a "Family Fun Table Quiz", an "Easter Draw" and two  "Clothes Collections". 

The PA Committee organise excellent courses for parents through the National Parents’ Council (Primary). This year’s information evening was a most informative presentation on Internet Safety for children and the potential dangers associated with children’s use of mobile phones and other devices. 

Your representatives on the PA Committee are regularly consulted by the Principal with regard to school policies and procedures and they play an important role in the formulation of school policy documents.
