We will be taking applications for admission to Junior Infants in Bennekerry N.S. for the school year 2021-22 between January 14th and February 5th 2021. If you are planning to apply for a place for your child next September, please make particular note of these dates. Our Admissions Policy which has been approved by our Patron, Bishop Denis Nulty, has just been added to this website under the Policies tab. You will also find our ICT Acceptable Usage Policy to which we have added an Appendix to include a Remote Teaching and Learning Plan. Both of these policies were ratified by our Board of Management at our recent meeting.

At present, every school in the country is updating their Admissions Policy. We are in the final stages of this process and expect to publish our updated policy here on our website in early October. Please be aware that 14th January 2021 is the date on which our school and all schools in the area will be accepting formal applications for admissions for September 2021. If you have already filled an "Intention to Enrol" form for September 2021, we will contact you in January to let you know how you should proceed with your application. If you have not already done so and hope to secure a place for your child over the next few years, feel free to fill an "Intention to Enrol" form and send it to the Secretary, Bennekerry N.S., Co. Carlow. This does not entitle you to a place in the school, nor does it place you higher up on the priority list.
